Your glucose makes more sense when you understand diabetes.
Most people living with diabetes — or trying to prevent it — never get a real explanation of what’s actually happening in their body. They get numbers, charts, and a stack of pamphlets. What they rarely get is someone sitting down and saying: here’s what this means, and here’s what you can do about it.
That’s exactly what this course does.
Diabetes 101: A Three-Part Foundation Course
This self-paced series was built for people who are newly diagnosed, recently told they have prediabetes, or simply trying to make sense of the data their CGM is showing them every day. No medical background required. No jargon. Just clear, honest answers to the questions you’ve probably already been Googling.
Module 1 — The Big Picture
You’ll learn why prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes are so common, what puts people at risk, and — crucially — why this is not a life sentence. The Diabetes Prevention Program has decades of evidence behind it. Module 1 explains what it is, how it works, and why behavior change (not willpower) is the actual lever.
Module 2 — Understanding Diabetes
This is the module that makes everything else click. You’ll learn how your body manages glucose when things are working, what goes wrong in each type of diabetes, and how to recognize the signs that need attention — from a low blood sugar episode to a full emergency. By the end, reading your CGM data will feel like reading a language you actually speak.
Module 3 — Managing by the Numbers
The ABCs of diabetes management: A1c, blood pressure, and cholesterol. You’ll learn what your targets actually are, why they matter for long-term health, and how clinical guidelines — the gold standard of medical evidence — translate into your everyday self-care. This module turns a confusing set of lab values into a clear, actionable framework.
Who this course is for
If any of these sound familiar, this course was made for you:
- You were recently diagnosed with prediabetes or Type 2 diabetes and feel overwhelmed
- You’re wearing a CGM and not entirely sure what you’re looking at
- Your doctor has mentioned A1c, time in range, or blood pressure goals — and you nodded, then Googled it later
- You want to take better care of yourself but need a foundation to build on first
What makes this different
This isn’t a diet plan. It isn’t a medication guide. And it isn’t a lecture designed for healthcare providers.
It’s education built for you — plain language, practical examples, and a structure you can move through at your own pace. Each module ends with a short quiz so you can check your own understanding before moving on. No grades. No pressure. Just real knowledge that sticks.
Ready to understand your glucose for good?
Each module takes about 20 minutes. You can work through all three in a single afternoon, or take them one at a time — whatever fits your life. It’s free!
