What is the A1c test?
What is the A1c test and what does it mean?
“The A1C test (also known as Hemoglobin A1C or HbA1c) is a standard blood test that measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 2 to 3 months. It is primarily used to screen for prediabetes, diagnose type 2 diabetes, and monitor how well existing diabetes is being managed.”1
