Turkey Chili
This hearty and flavorful turkey chili is the perfect healthy meal! Its easy to replace beef with turkey for less fat and still great taste.
INGREDIENTS FOR TURKEY CHILI
- 2 cups chopped cooked turkey or sautéed ground turkey
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cups cooked red beans (kidney beans)
- 1 cup water 1-6oz can low sodium tomato paste
- 1-28oz can of tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the flavors are blended.
- Makes 6 servings.
- Garnish with sour cream and green onions (optional)
