Lowfat Double Apple Muffins
This unique lowfat double apple muffins recipe is the perfect way to create a healthy and delicious snack!
INGREDIENTS FOR LOWFAT DOUBLE APPLE MUFFINS
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup diced apple, peeled or not peeled
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
DIRECTIONS
- In a mixing bowl, beat egg, milk and applesauce.
- Stir in diced apple.
- Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt all at once.
- Stir until just moistened.
- Fill muffin liners/greased muffin tins 3/4 full of batter.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- Makes 12 muffins.
